Angela Strange is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, focused on AI applications and fintech/insurance. She serves on the boards of companies including Addi, Cygnvs, hyperexponential, Jeeves, Moov, Sardine, Valon, and Vesta.
Angela coined the widely cited idea that “Every Company Will Be a Fintech Company,” reflecting how businesses increasingly generate revenue through financial services powered by new infrastructure.
Before a16z, Angela was a product manager at Google, where she helped grow Chrome for Android and iOS. She also held roles at Ruba.com, Bay Partners, and Mercer Management Consulting.
She co-founded C100, served on Canada’s Economic Growth Council, and holds degrees from Queen’s University and Stanford. A former professional runner, Angela also won multiple marathons and ranked seventh nationally in Canada.
